This is a lovely smooth floodlight. The neutral-white color makes flesh and natural objects look like they do in sunlight, with very even lighting that's easy on the eyes. Brightness appears to be only slightly less than the cool white M60F, to my eyes. Compared to the M60W-MCE it is about half as bright, runs twice as long, and costs half as much. This light is great for small to medium sized rooms (or up to a 2 car garage.) I also like it for lighting up wide paths while walking. There's not a lot of reach on it, though - it's a pure flood. You don't need to scan around with the spot, since there is no spot. Just point it in the general direction you are interested in and enjoy the view. Reliability is tops, and so is service after the sale. This module is a good match for an MD2 or MD3 host, it doesn't need high voltage like the Malkoff MCE does. Tint is a tiny bit pinker/warmer than the M60W-MCE. Puts out around 20 lumens on low beam if you are using the hi/lo ring (highly recommended.)
