This is an unbelievable upgrade over the factory system, or any other so-called LED upgrade that I've found at hardware and department stores. I can hardly believe that my little 4 C cell is more than twice as bright as the 6 D cell maglite that I've carried for years, and it's got an LED "upgrade" in it as well. It is well worth the money for the person who knows that you get what you pay for. Yeah, the initial cost was a bit of a shocker, but it was worth every penny. And I'll be purchasing an upgrade for my other flashlights as well. Not only is it brighter, but it's much more accurate. It's no wonder these guys can't keep 'em in stock.
