The first thing I noticed with the MD3 is how SMALL it is, compared to what I pictured it would be. It's VERY comfortable to hold. And the Type III HA finish is EXCELLENT in black!! I love the knurling as well, like velcro in the hand!

The beam is EXACTLY what I wanted!! Great flood with s decent enough hotspot for some throw. It lights up ANY room I use it in at home, and outside the output is just insane!

I wish I bought two. One for duty use and one to "baby" =)

I now own the MD3, a M60LF, a M60 MC-E in a SF D3 host (which is AWESOME for close quarters applications), and a M60 in a SF C2/D3 host. Gene, if your stuff keeps surpassing my expectations I am going to end up broke!
