I own several of Gene's Creations. After using the regular M60 in multiple light configurations, I asked Gene if there was the possibilty of developing a LED lamp that would provide all the benefits of the M60, but have an extended run time and a lower lumen rating, kind of an emergency/everday use light that would supply long duration on 123 batts but still be significantly useful. The M60LL is just what the doctor ordered? Is has excellent throw and and great circular pattern. For an everyday use light for the bedside, it is awesome. Mine (I have 5 M60LLs) reside in SF 6P bodies and are strategically placed around the house and in the vehicles. These inserts are the perfect 'survival' bulb - enough concentrated throw to be useful at distance with a wide pattern for room illumination, especially in 'candle' mode (setting the flashlight on its tail and pointing toward ceiling). With the 8 hour run time - it lasts through most electrical outages and other emergencies - awesome product!
